A few months after adding Tony Ramos to the Tar Heel Wrestling Club and UNC Staff, the Tar Heel Wrestling Club has named Olympic champion Kenny Monday as the head coach of the Tar Heel Wrestling Club.
Kenny was and Olympic Champion in 1998 and took Silver in 1992. He has recently spent time coaching MMA for the Blackzillians and other top prospects. He competed for the Oklahoma State Cowboys where he was crowned an NCAA Champion. He also fulfilled a role as Associate Head Coach along side the great John Smith.
Kenny's focus will mainly be on developing the THWC athletes like Tony Ramos, Josh Kindig, and Braden Atwood along with running the freestyle RTC workouts. The Tar Heel Wrestling Club will be looking to add more athletes here in the future!
